Scientific Name: Hydrous Silicate of Alumina
Common Uses: For use as a laxative, as a detoxing agent, in heavy metal chelation, as part of a poultice for wounds, and in skin care and treatment of skin conditions. Some studies have indicated bentonite clay as effective against candida (Yeast) infections.
*Warnings: You should also always take bentonite clay with a fiber supplement to prevent the clay from getting stuck in your intestines and causing bowel obstruction.
