Common Uses: Styes, strengthening and toughening bleeding gums, toothache, skin rashes, mouth and stomach ulcers, caanker sores, bitter tonic and healer, diabetes, liver and gallbladder cleanser, poison ivy, psoriasis, eczema. Can be used to help nicotine cravings. Also, anti-cancer activity.

Origin: Yellow root grows abundantly in central and southern Appalachia near forest streams, Maine, south into Florida, and west into Texas and Ohio.
