There has been such an amazing response to our donations request I am posting a revised list here.
The only items remaining on the list for donations are:
56 gallon trash bags (these are construction bags)

2 lbs of Ant Killer

Candy for candy dance – Morningdove and Skyhawk donated 4 bags of candy, but I am leaving it on the list because we can never have too much candy. The more candy the more candy dances we can do.

5 gallons of Crisco Canola Oil (this needs to be this specific type oil as it does best for cooking the fry bread)

Thank you all for your support. The address of our office is: 1531 Blount Avenue / Guntersville, AL. Our hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 9 am – 2:45 pm, Thursday and Friday 10 am – 4 pm.

If you are able to donate any of the items on the list please email me at dixonzoo@aol.com or ucanonline@bellsouth.net and let me know which items you will be donating and be sure to have them in our office by February 21st.  If you are not able to donate an item needed and would like to help we would appreciate cash donations. PowWow cost between $5,000 and $6,000 to put on, so all donations are welcome and very appreciated. You can go to our website at www.ucantribe.com and click on the donate button if you use PayPal, otherwise you can send your donation to: UCAN/PowWow funds / PO Box 754 / Guntersville, AL 35976. Thank You for all your support. Principal Chief Judy Dixon

  1. We have had such a huge response to our request for donations. We now only need:

3 containers of Clorox disinfectant wipes
    2 lbs of Ant killer
5 gallons of Crisco Canola Oil (this specific brand and type for cooking fry bread)
